Our story

Amore Sample begins with the sea.

The name came before the first piece — the initials of the two of us, and, read another way, a sample of love. It felt like a promise we would have to grow into.

We were living in Bali, in that light that makes everything look softer than it is. For the first year we sold nothing at all. We were looking for real silk, finding the hands we trusted, and cutting one piece at a time, for one woman at a time. It is still how the house works.

The dolphin came from the sea as well. First in a dream, later in the water. We kept it. It sits on the label quietly — something you find, rather than something announced.

We opened to the world in December 2023. Everything is still cut and sewn here, by the same small team, in the same soft light.
